To encourage regular attendance at Anganwadi centers, we addressed a significant barrier faced by children from underprivileged families: the lack of proper clothing and footwear. Many parents, due to poverty, are unable to provide their children with decent attire, which impacts the children’s confidence and willingness to attend. Recognizing this challenge, we distributed two pairs of dresses and one pair of shoes to 225 children across five Anganwadi centers. This initiative has successfully increased daily attendance, as children now feel more confident and eager to attend. The centers are witnessing improved participation, ensuring that the children do not miss out on essential learning and development activities.
